You cannot tell the difference between a Fiberspan Concrete Viga and a
wooden viga. It will never shrink, crack or decay. It can be stained,
painted, or sealed and left its natural wood color. The Fiberspan Concrete
Viga is a hollow, high-test casting weighing less than 20 pounds. Available
sizes: 8"dia. x 14" L, 10"dia. x 17" L, and 12"dia. x 19" L. Application is easy. Simply apply your building paper, then screw the Viga to the substrate and framing through the Viga flange. Apply foam to the flange and lap your lath over the flange. Your stucco will bond to and cover the flange to provide a weather-tight seal. Unlike the old wood viga, the Fiberspan Concrete Viga becomes an integral part of your stucco system .Architects, designers and contractors can now use vigas again without any future problems by using Fiberspan Concrete Vigas.
